Place the column assembly vertically on the bench then lift the vertical column upwards and away
from the lower casting.
The leadscrew and linear rail are now exposed.
The mechanical assembly is rebuilt using the reverse procedure.
Note that the limit rod fixed and adjustable collars MUST be repositioned as shown below: -
Top of fixed top support below top of vertical column = 70mm
Distance between top of upper collar and bottom of fixed top support = 5mm
Bottom of lower collar above limit switch bracket = 140mm
8.15 Replacing a Limit Switch
The limit switches are fixed to the limit switch bracket using 2 off M3 socket head screws. When
replacing a limit switch, ensure that the wires are connected to the 2 outer terminals - see
section 2.5
Also ensure that the lever is between the limit switch body and the actuating bolt.
