L-View for Mac
4.4.1 PLAYING BACK VIDEO FROM YOUR MAC’S HARD DRIVE
L-Play for Mac is included to playback video files you have saved to your Mac’s hard drive.
To play back video from your Mac’s hard drive:
1. Use the instructions above to record some video if y
o
u have not done so already.
2. Click the folder icon (
) above the camera's video area to open today's recordings
from that camera.
Click to open the recording folder
NOTE: Video files are named using
hhmmss
format (e.g.
103045
is
10:30:45am
). To open
video files from other days, go to the folder one level above the one that opens. Day
folders use the format
yyyymmdd
(e.g.
20121016
is
October 16, 2012
). To open video files
from other cameras, go two levels up (camera folders are named using the camera
name and ID).
3. Double-click a video file to open it. The file opens in L-Play.
