If boom is off ground and supported by boom
straps, and there is no blocking under boom
sections, boom will collapse when lower pins
are removed.
If handling slings are slack, boom point is on
ground, and there is no blocking under boom
sections, boom will collapse when lower pins
are removed.
Lower pins can be removed safely when:
• handling slings are taut and supporting
boom
• boom straps are fully lowered onto supports
• boom sections are lowered and securely
blocked.
