Connection overview
DVI If your monitor has a DVI connector, use a DisplayPort to DVI adapter
(active

) to connect your monitor cable to the DisplayPort connector
on your Matrox card. Connect the other end of the cable to your
monitor.
HDMI If your monitor has an HDMI connector, use a mini DisplayPort to
HDMI adapter (active
*
) to connect to the mini DisplayPort connector
on your Matrox card. Connect your monitor to the HDMI connector
on your adapter.
* Only active adapters (sold separately) are supported. Passive adapters aren’t supported.
WA R N I NG : To avoid damaging the
DisplayPort connector on your DisplayPort
monitor cable or on your graphics
hardware, carefully remove the DisplayPort
cable by pressing the latch on the top of the
DisplayPort connector while removing the
connector.
