Attribution of slots in the rack

Table 8-2 shows the installation restrictions that apply to the VM600 slimline rack (ABE056).

Notes
As per the ABE04x rack (above), a signal processing card (such as a MPC4) must have an input/output card
(such as a IOC4T) installed directly behind it in the rack.
A VM600 slimline rack (ABE056) has one rack slot / position in the front and two rack slots / positions in the
rear. In the Rack slot no. column, the factory assigned default values are shown. However, different rack slot
numbers can be used, if required. See 2.1.2.1 Slot number coding for cards in the rear of a VM600 slimline rack.
