Updated connection diagrams to include the IPC707 signal
conditioner (see 9.2.2.1 Voltage-modulated signal,
9.2.2.2 Current-modulated signal,
9.2.4.1 Voltage-modulated signal with GSI127 galvanic
separation unit and 9.2.4.2 Voltage-modulated signal with
GSIxxx galvanic separation unit).
Added additional information on the MPC4/IOC4T card
pair’s buffered (raw) outputs related to protection
(short-circuit and voltage injection) and galvanic isolation
(see 9.6 Buffered (raw) outputs).
In 9.10 Grounding options, updated the note to remove
reference to jumper J701 on the MPC4 card, which no
longer exists.
Explained that when cold-junction compensation (CJC) is
used with a thermocouple (TC) device, temperature
differences around a VM600 rack should be minimised
(see 10.2.2 Connecting thermocouples).
Added note that before working on a VM600 rack with an
with a 110 V
DC
RPS6U rack power supply, the user must
ensure that there is no voltage on the input connector and
always use an insulated screwdriver (see 14 Maintenance
and troubleshooting).
Updated cleaning instructions to use a dry cloth only
(see 14.2 Cleaning).
Clarified where and how to change fuses for racks with an
AC-input power supply (see 14.5.1 General checks for
racks).
Updated the Energy product return procedure and form to
be consistent with the Meggitt vibro-meter
®
Energy website
(see 16 Service and support).
Updated to use the latest Meggitt brand identity.
