C.2.2 Setting Up the Digital Imager Reader
C.2.2.1 Installing the Interface Cable
1. Plug the interface cable modular connector into the cable interface port on the bottom
of the reader handle and ensure the connector is properly secure.
2. Connect the other end of the interface cable to the host
C.2.2.2 Removing the Interface Cable
1. Using the tip of a screwdriver or some other tools with a sharp head, depress the
cable’s modular connector clip.
2. Carefully slide out the cable.

The reader has factory settings; please refer to A.4 for details.
The reader supports some user-defined functions as introduced below.

Scan the following barcode to set the volume parameter.
