<Figure 4-7> shows the structure and names of the components of the intelligent feeder.
• Features
The intelligent feeder stores various component information required for component feeding
such as component balance, component feeding interval, feeder position, etc.
and exchanges the information with the Mx Series system body for component feeding.
The intelligent feeder carries out two-way communication with the mounter body to notify end
of component feeding in advance through component balance information. This can increase
productivity by minimizing the system holding time due to component change. In addition, the
intelligent feeder keeps the slot number to prevent misplacement caused by incorrect feeder
installation.
