Faults with diagnostic message

Symptom Cause Solution
The actuating voltage has
failed or the actuator is defec-
tive.
Have the actuating voltage
and actuator checked by a
trained and qualified electri-
cian.
Symptom Cause Solution
Vacuum pump does not
switch off.
Notify MULTIVAC Service. 67
Ventilation valve does not
open.
Notify MULTIVAC Service.
No inert gas available or al-
most depleted.
Connect inert gas or ensure
that there is sufficient gas
supply (e.g. change gas cylin-
der).
Stop-cock for the gas supply
is closed.
Open the stop-cock for the
gas supply.
Gas hose has a kink in it. Remove the kink in the gas
hose.
Value for the gas flushing
pressure is set such that it
cannot be reached.
Correct the value for Gas
flushing pressure.
The vacuum sensor is incor-
rectly calibrated.
Notify MULTIVAC Service.
Vacuum sensor is defective. Notify MULTIVAC Service.

Value for the Evacuation
pressure is set so low that it
cannot be reached.
Correct the value for Evacua-
