• The actuating voltage has
failed or the actuator is defec-
tive.
• Have the actuating voltage
and actuator checked by a
trained and qualified electri-
cian.

• Vacuum pump does not
switch off.
• Notify MULTIVAC Service. 67
• Ventilation valve does not
open.
• Notify MULTIVAC Service.
• No inert gas available or al-
most depleted.
• Connect inert gas or ensure
that there is sufficient gas
supply (e.g. change gas cylin-
der).
• Stop-cock for the gas supply
is closed.
• Open the stop-cock for the
gas supply.
• Gas hose has a kink in it. • Remove the kink in the gas
hose.
• Value for the gas flushing
pressure is set such that it
cannot be reached.
• Correct the value for Gas
flushing pressure.
• The vacuum sensor is incor-
rectly calibrated.
• Notify MULTIVAC Service.
• Vacuum sensor is defective. • Notify MULTIVAC Service.
