Using an additional line
When two lines are operating, you can select a line for sending a fax.
Faxes are usually transmitted using an idle line. Lines can be used to transmit faxes according to usages's
situation.
Tips
- When registering destinations with an address book, you can configure the lines used to transmit faxes
in addition to registering fax numbers.
- This function cannot be used together with the following functions.
– Polling TX, Polling TX (Bulletin Board).
Operations required to use this function (for the administrator)
Configure a specific function for additional line. If you configure a function that differs from the one assigned
to the first line, you can use the two lines differently.
For details on how to configure the settings, refer to page 11-31.
Tips
- You cannot specify a line if [Multi Line Usage Settings] is set to [RX Only].
