Caterpillar/Perkins
Caterpillar and Perkins have a primary and a secondary DM1 log as well as one DM2 log. Use
the up or down buttons until the “2
nd
DM1 log” is shown and press enter. The second
alarm log will be shown in the display.

The primary DM1 log shows alarms from the ADEM III/IV engine controllers. The secondary
DM1 log shows alarms from the EMCP 3.x gen-set controller. Similar to the J1939 protocol the
DM2 log shows the historical alarms. Use the up and down buttons to scroll through
the list.
NOTE: The display of Caterpillar/Perkins secondary DM 1 log only applies
to EMS-GC10 100 and GC-1F/2.
