3.3 Installing ink cartridges
This section describes the procedure to install the ink cartridges and high capacity pack adapter.
CAUTION
• Before operation, make sure to read the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
• When handling ink cartridges, pay attention so that ink does not get into your eyes
or stick to your skin.
If ink gets into your eyes or sticks to your skin, immediately wash it off with water.
Failing to do so might cause irritation or light inflammation of eyes.
In case of any abnormality, consult a physician immediately.
• Do not disassemble ink cartridges.
If disassembled, there is a possibility that ink might come into contact with eyes or
skin.
• Do not perform the following operations during ink filling.
• Do not turn OFF the printer.
• Do not unplug the power cable.
• Do not open the front cover.
• Do not raise the media loading lever.
