3 Agitating ink cartridges
Agitate the ink at the following times to prevent it from settling out and/or coagulating:
• Before installing new ink cartridge
• When any of the messages below appears

Agitating ink cartridges
Agitate the White (Wh) ink cartridge.
• Displays every 12 hours.
Agitate the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Yellow (Y) ink
cartridges.
• Displays every 72 hours.
Agitate the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), Yellow (Y), and White
(Wh) ink cartridges.
Agitate the Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C), and Yellow (Y) ink
cartridges.
• Displays every 72 hours.
Important!
• Agitate the ink cartridges periodically.
Otherwise, the ink inside the cartridges settles or coagulates and may cause poor print quality or a malfunction.
• The shake cartridge message for CMYK inks may sometimes appear at the same timing as the one for white ink.
• You should agitate the ink cartridges when the message appears. Otherwise, for 12 hours after the message appears, you will
repeatedly have to wait a certain time before you can print. When 12 hours have passed, the printer will not print any data. In
either case, you can restore the printer to normal condition by agitating the ink cartridges.
Skin or eye contact with UV curable ink may cause skin inflammation or allergic reaction.
When using this product, wear personal protective equipment (supplied gloves or solvent-resistant
gloves, goggles or protective eyewear, protective mask, protective clothing) to avoid skin contact
with ink.
