5.3 Entering Configuration Settings from the GT10 Main
Unit
5.3.1 What is the System Menu?
The system menu is a dedicated screen on which configuration settings for the GT10
are entered. Some of the items that can be specified here can also be set usingGTWIN
screen creation tool and then sent to the GT10, but others, such as the internal clock
andadjustmentsto the LCDcontrast level, can onlybeset usingthe system menu.This
section explains how configuration settings are entered using the system menu.
5.3.2 Bringing Up the System Menu
The following procedure is used to bring up the system menu.
(1) Touch the four corners of the LCD touch panel simultaneously.
Touch these four corners at the same time,
and continue pressing them for about one
second.
(2) The initial screen of the system menu is displayed.
The initial screen of the system menu is
displayed on the GT10. Touching either
the[Setting]or[Test]keyshiftstothenext
screen.
Touching the [ESC] key exits the system
menuandreturnstothe normaloperating
mode.
*.* indicates the ROM version of the GT10 system.
(3) Select the mode.
[Setting]: Setting mode initial screen
This is where configuration settings for the
GT10, such as thecontrast,clock,COM.port,
TOOL port, and memory, are specified.
[Test]: Test mode initial screen
This is where GT10 configuration elements
such as the touch switches, backlight,
clock, buzzer, LCD, contrast, and memory
are tested.
