5.3 Entering Configuration Settings from the GT10 Main Unit

Through function: Through function destination setting
When the through function is being used, this specifies the number of the PLC at the
other end of the connection. Normally, when used in a 1 : 1 configuration, this should
be set to “00”.
Bitrate: GTWIN communication speed
Each time the [Function] key is touched, the Baud rate switches in the sequence of
9600/19200/115200 bits/s. Set the speed to match that of the personal computer
(GTWIN) connected to the GT10.
Format: Transmission format
Thissets the communication parameters (data length, stop bits, parity) for the personal
computer (GTWIN) connected to the GT10.
Theitemsdisplayed are: Data length/ Stopbit / Parity, andeach time the [Function] key
is pressed, the display switches in the sequence of: [8/1/None], [8/1/Odd], [8/1/Even].

touch the [ESC] key.

The default (initial) values for the TOOL Port communication parameter
settings are: 19200 bits/s, 8/1/Odd.
