9.3 Error Codes and How to Handle Them
When connected to a PLC (FX) series made by Mitsubishi Electric
The following four types of error codes are displayed when there is an error in the GT
main unit:
Code no. Content Cause and solution
FF
Time up error
Noresponsefrom the PLC.
Check the connection cable to make sure it is connected.

Data error
A data error occurred dur-
ing communication.
Check to see if there is an error in the communication parameters
settings.

Overrun error
The GT main unit cannot
receive data.
The problem may be caused by a runaway PLC.

PLC error
A NAK error has been re-
turned by the PLC.
Check the PLC settings.
Connecting to a PLC made by Omron
The following three types of error codes are displayed when there is an error in the GT
main unit:
