3.2 Setting the Basic Communication Area Between the GT10 and PLC
Settings in GTWIN
Select “Configuration” under “File” on the menu bar, and then select the sub-menu
called “GTWIN Configuration”. This displays the dialog box for the GT10 Basic Setup,
as shown below.
Clicking on the
button in “Basic Communication Area to PLC” displays the device
settings dialog box shown below, where the initial addresses for the word area and bit
area can be changed.

Explanation of this function
Key operation in the Device Settings dialog box
Click on the
button to display a pull-down menu, and then select
the device for which settings are to be entered. Use the ten-keys to
enter the address.
The
button acts as a backspace key when entering an address,
and the
button functions as a Clear key.
