PS DATA PROGRAMMING
PS Data Programming
(1) PS Data Programming via Data Set Adapter
Using the Data Set Adapter, the following data can be written onto each PS.
System ID (SYS-ID) : CS ID for controlling the whole PHS system, enabling both the CS and PS to
correspond
Individual PS No. : Maximum number of 8 digits used in the Home Office and this number is for
convenience usually the same as the station number
PS Station No. : Numbers when dialed to make a call. Maximum 8 digits are available and
these numbers can be displayed on the LCD.
Transceiver ID : Numbers used in dialing in the transceiver mode and these are usually identi-
cal to the station number
The data is loaded to the floppy disk, with file names attached. These files are such that they are com-
piled and different PS-IDs are allocated to different PSs. These files include the above parameters.
NOTE: When using the Data Set Adapter, System ID is to be entered, so you have to know in advance
the System-ID that each Control CS has. The System ID of the Control CS is written on the back
of the CS.
