(SNMP)
Description
SL2100 system supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) that functions with standard
MIB’s and SNMP traps. Typically, an administrator uses a SNMP application to centrally manage
network devices. The SL2100 is considered as a SNMP Agent that can talk to a SNMP application.
Request of information and reply (GetRequest)
• Information on watch target equipment is requested of an agent from a manager.
• An agent acquires requested information and replies to a manager.
Setting request of information and reply (SetRequest)
• Setting change in the watch target equipment is requested of an agent from a manager.
• An agent carries out requested setting change and replies to a manager.
The Supported Management Information Base are as follows:
System (1), interface (2), ip (4), icmp (5), tcp (6), udp (7), and snmp (11)
