1. Click Maintenance File Management Dual Image Dual Image Configuration in the
navigation menu.
The Active Image page contains the following fields:
2. Click Activate Image to make the image that is selected in the Image Name field the next
active image for subsequent reboots.
3. If the file you uploaded contains the boot loader code only, click Update Bootcode.
4. Click Refresh to reload the page and display the most current information.
5. Click Delete Image to remove the selected image from permanent storage on the switch. You
cannot delete the active image.

Field Description
Image Name Select image1 or image2 from the drop down menu to display or configure
information about that software image.
Current Active Displays name of current active image.
Image
Description
If desired, enter a descriptive name for the software image.
Note: After activating an image, you must perform a system reset of the switch in
order to run the new code.
