Beforeusingthemachine
ATTENTION:Readandfamiliarizeyourselfwiththein-
structionsandwarningsshowninthismanualbeforeop-
eratingthemachine.
Beforeusingthemachine,someprecautionsareneces-
sary.
Checkthelevels(engineoil,hydraulicuidandcoolant
uid)andmakesurethatthevariousuidscorrespondto
theconditionsofuse.
Carryoutthedailymaintenanceoperations.
Walkroundthemachine,lookforanyleaksandinspect
thehoses.Tightenorreplaceanyitemsasrequired.
Beforeundertakingroadtravel,unlocktheattachments,
completelyraisethestabilizersandinstallthesafetysys-
temsrequiredbytheregulations.
Beforeroadtravelornightwork,checkthatthelighting
andsignallingsystemsarecorrectlyoperatingandcor-
rectlyadjusted.
Checktheconditionofthetiresandthetirepressure.
Cleanthestepsandaccesshandles.
Thepresenceofoil,mudorice(winter)cancauseacci-
dents.
Makesuretheyarealwaysclean.
Cleanorreplacesafetydecalswhicharenolongerlegi-
ble.
Makesurethattheenginetilthoodisclosedandlatched
correctly.
Removeanythingwhichmighthindervisibility.Cleanthe
windowsandtherearviewmirrors.
Makesurethatnoobjectsortoolsareleftonthemachine
orintheoperator’scompartment.
Makesureyouknowhowtoevacuatethemachine(emer-
gencyexitviatheright-handdoor)incaseexitthroughthe
left-handdoorisimpossible.
Makesurethattheright-handdoorisnotlocked.
Makesurethatnobodyisunderoronthemachine.
Theoperatorshouldbetheonlypersononthemachine.
Makesurethatnobodyiswithintheworkingrangeofthe
machine.`
