2-SAFETYINFORMATION
Safetyrules-Liftingandoverheadloads
Neverliftloadsinexcessofcapacity.
Carryloadsinrecommendedpositionsformaxi-
mumstability.
Neverusebuckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,han-
dling,ordiggingequipmenttoliftpersons.
Donotuseraisedequipmentasaworkplatform.
Knowthefullareaofmovementofthemachineand
equipmentanddonotenterorpermitanyoneto
entertheareaofmovementwhilethemachineis
inoperation.
Neverenterorpermitanyonetoenterthearea
underneathraisedequipment.Equipmentand/or
loadscanfallunexpectedlyandcrushpersons
underneathit.
Donotleaveequipmentinraisedpositionwhile
parkedorduringservice,unlesssecurelysup-
ported.Hydrauliccylindersmustbemechanically
lockedorsupportediftheyareleftinaraisedposi-
tionforserviceoraccess.
Buckets,forks,etc.orotherlifting,handling,ordig-
gingequipmentanditsloadwillchangethecenter
ofgravityofthemachine.Thiscancausethema-
chinetotiponslopesorunevenground.
Loaditemscanfalloffthebucketorliftingequipment
andcrushtheoperator.Caremustbetakenwhen
liftingaload.Useproperliftingequipment.
Usetherecommendedmachineballastandcoun-
terweighting.
Donotliftloadhigherthannecessary.Lowerloads
totransport.Remembertoleaveappropriateclear-
ancetothegroundorotherobstacles.
Equipmentandassociatedloadscanblockvisibility
andcauseanaccident.Donotoperatewithinsuf-
cientvisibility.
