Duringtheautoregenerationprocessaburningor“hot”odormaybepresent.

Theoperatormaycontinuetooperatethemachinenormallyduringtheautoregenerationprocess.Whenengine
loadishighenoughregenerationmayhappen.Iftheloaddrops,regenerationmaystopearly.

Theautoregenerationprocesswilllastapproximately5–20minutesdependingontheashlevelintheDPF
andcurrentmachineoperations.

NOTE:Theoperatormaychoosetodelaytheautoregenerationprocess,refertotheregenerationinhibitprocedure.
However,continuingtodelaytheautoregenerationprocesswilleventuallyresultinaforcedregeneration.
OperatorisnotiedbyasingleaudiblebeepandtheDPF
regenerationONsymbolappearsonthedisplayscreen.
TheDPFregenerationprocessbeginsandthedisplaywill
alternatebetweentheDPFONsymbolandthehourme-
ter,approximately10times.

Aftertheregenerationprocessiscompleteasingleaudi-
blebeepandtheDPFregenerationOFFsymbolwillap-
pearonthedisplayscreen.Thedisplaywillalternatebe-
tweentheDPFOFFsymbolandthehourmeter,approxi-
mately10times.
