Steeringcolumn
Themachineisequippedwithahydrostaticpowersteer-
ing,whichconsiderablyreducestheeffortnecessaryto
turnthesteeringwheel(1).Familiariseyourselfwiththe
effortrequiredtoturnthewheelbeforedrivingthema-
chineforthersttime.
ATTENTION:Becauseyourmachineisequippedwithhy-
drostaticpowersteering,neverholdthesteeringwheel
againsteitherofthesteeringstops.Failuretoobserve
thisprecautionmayresultindamagetothesteeringsys-
temcomponents.
NOTICE:Incaseofabrokensteeringhose,themachine
cannotbesteered,stopthemachineimmediatelyand
contactyourDealer.
Intheeventoflossofpowersteeringduetoenginefailure,
themachinecanstillbedriventoaplaceofsafety.The
forcenecessarytoturnthesteeringwheelandsteerthe
machinewill,however,bemuchhigher.

Adjustablesteeringcolumn(optional)
Theangleofthesteeringcolumncanbevariedthrough
anapproximaterangeof10-20°.
Adjustmentisbyreleaseofthefootpedalatthebase
ofthecolumn.Applyalightpressuretothispedaland
positionthesteeringcolumntosuityourneeds.
Withthecolumninthedesiredpositionreleasethefoot
pedalwhichwilllockthecolumninposition.
NOTICE:Itisessentialthatthemachinebebroughtto
acompletestopbeforeattemptingtoadjustthesteering
columntiltposition.Ifthisinstructionisnotobservedan
accidentmayoccur.
