functioniscorrected.

Ifafailurethatcauseslossofcontrolsuchassteer-
ing,servicebrakes,orengineoccurs,stopthema-
chinemotionasquicklyaspossible.Makesurethe
machineissecurelyparked.Removethekeyand
attacha'DoNotOperate'tagonthemachineuntil
themalfunctioniscorrectedorthemachinecanbe
safelytowed.

Makesureallcomponentsareingoodconditionand
tightenallconnectionsbeforestartingtheengineor
pressurizingthesystem.
•
Makesureallguardsandshieldsareingoodcon-
ditionandproperlyinstalledbeforeoperatingma-
chine.Neveroperatethemachinewiththeshields
removed.Alwayscloseaccessdoorsorpanelbe-
foreoperatingthemachine.
•
Beforestartingtheengine,besurealloperating
controlsareintheneutralorparklockposition.
•
Starttheengineonlyfromtheoperator’sseat.
•
Operatecontrolsonlywhenseatedintheoperator's
seat,exceptforthosecontrolsexpresslyintended
forusefromotherlocations.
•
Donotallowotherpersonstorideonthemachine
oronanattachment/implement.
•
Operateanddrivethemachinewithcareandat
speedcompatiblewithconditions.Useextracau-
tionwhenoperatingoverroughground,onslopes,
andwhenturning.

Ifyourmachinehasacab,makesurethatallwin-
dowsarecleanandthatthewindshieldwiperswork
correctly.
•
Dust,fog,smoke,etc.,candecreaseyourvision
andcauseanaccident.Stopthemachineorde-
creasethespeeduntilyoucansee.

Understandthemachinelimitationsandkeepthe
machineundercontrol.

Beforeyouoperateatnight,checkthatalllamps
illuminate.

Selectagearthatwillpreventexcessivespeed
whengoingdownhill.Donotcoastdownhill.

DONOTattempttoremovematerialfromanypart
ofthemachinewhileitisbeingoperatedorcompo-
nentsareinmotion.
