nectinganyelectronicorcomputerdevices.

Donotattempttoclean,lubricate,clearobstruc-
tions,ormakeadjustmentstothemachinewhileit
isinmotionorwhileengineisrunning.
•
Iftheenginemustbeinoperationtomakecertain
adjustments,placethetransmissioninneutral,ap-
plytheparkingbrake,placetheequipmentinasafe
position,securelyblockthewheels,anduseex-
tremecaution.
•
Unsupportedhydrauliccylinderscanlosepressure
anddroptheequipmentcausingacrushinghaz-
ard.Donotleaveequipmentinaraisedposition
whileparkedorduringservice,unlesssecurelysup-
ported.
•
Shutdowntheengine,removethekey,andre-
lievethepressurebeforedisconnectingorconnect-
inguidlines.
•
Shutdowntheengineandremovethekeybefore
disconnectingorconnectingelectricalcomponents.
•
Replacedamagedorworntubes,hoses,electrical
wiring,etc.
•
Scaldingcanresultfromincorrectremovalof
coolantcaps.Coolingsystemoperatesunderpres-
sure.Hotcoolantcansprayoutifacapisremoved
whilethesystemishot.Allowthesystemtocool
beforeremovingcap.Whenremovingacap,turn
itslowlytoallowpressuretoescapebeforecom-
pletelyremovingthecap.

Engine,transmission,exhaustcomponents,and
hydrauliclinesmaybecomehotduringoperation.
Takecarewhenservicingsuchcomponents.Allow
surfacestocoolbeforehandlingordisconnecting
hotcomponents.Wearprotectiveequipmentwhere
appropriate.

Continuouslongtermcontactwithhydraulicuid
maycaseskincancer.Avoidlongtermcontactand
washtheskinpromptlywithsoapandwater.
•
Whenreplacinghardenedpins,useabrassdriftor
othersuitablematerialbetweenthehammerand
pin.
•
Whenwelding,followtheinstructionsinthisman-
ual.Alwaysdisconnectbatterybeforeweldingon
machine.Alwayswashyourhandsafterhandling
batterycomponents.

Keepthebrakesandsteeringsystemsingoodop-
eratingcondition.

Replaceallmissing,illegible,ordamagedsafety
signs.Keepallsafetysignsclean.

Installguardsandshieldsafterservicingthema-
chine.

Closeallaccessdoorsandinstallallpanelsafter
servicingthemachine.

Alwaysmakesureworkingareaisclearoftools,
parts,otherpersons,anddomesticanimalsbefore
youstartoperatingthemachine.
