Ifalightashisvisiblefromtheoutside,thismeansthat
thelterisdamaged.
Inthiscase,immediatelyreplacethemainlterelement
(1).
Visualcheckoftheseal.
Ifthesealisdamaged,replacethemainlterelementim-
mediately.

Mainlterelementcleaning
Nevercleanthelterelementsbyknockingorhittingthem.
Afterthreecleaningormaximumafteroneyear,thelter
elementmustbereplaced.
Nevercleanthelterelementusingpetrolorammable
liquids.
Cleaningwithcompressedairisappropriateifthelterel-
ementisimmediatelyreused.
Thepressureinthenozzlemustnotexceed7bar(102
psi).
Firstcleantheltersurfacewithdrycompressedair,blow-
ingobliquelyfromtheoutside.
Thenblowtheinsideoftheelement.
Thepipetoblowcompressedairmustremainatadistance
ofminimum3cm(1.18in)fromtheinsideofthelterele-
ment.
Cleaningiscompletewhennodustcomesoutofthelter
element(1)anymore.
