6 USING A WEB BROWSER FOR MANAGING YOUR
MUSIC CENTER
This chapter shows ways to manage data content of the music center using a
web browser instead of operating the Turn&Select wheel on its front. For this
purpose the music center must be connected to a computer network and set
up correctly. Please refer to the last chapter on integrating a music center with
other devices.
1. Launch the web browser of your choice.
2. As URL (address) enter the IP address of your music center.
The music center displays this address in “Settings” > “Network” >
“Info”.
If the music center is confi gured as “Symphony/Musica Network”
you may enter the IP address “192.168.1.1”.
The home page of the music center appears. At the top you fi nd the
control buttons already familiar from the music center main menu
options. The Home button in the top-left corner always brings you
back to this page.
Editing artist’s data
When you click the “Artists” button the list of stored artists is displayed. The
small icons attached give you the option of Editing ( ) or Deleting ( ) the
entry. After clicking the “Editing” button the input fi elds for name and genre
appear on the right side of the window.
Clicking the “Save” button confi rms your changes.
The input fi eld Filter Text and the button Search can be used for reducing the
number of displayed items.
You may click the name of an artist to reveal a list of his/her albums.
Editing album data
When you click the “Albums” button the list of stored albums is displayed. The
small icons attached give you the option of Editing ( ) or Deleting ( )
the entry. After clicking the “Editing” button input fi elds for artist, name, and
genre appear on the right side of the window.
Clicking the “Save” button confi rms your changes.
The input fi eld Filter Text and the button Search can be used for reducing the
number of displayed items.
You may click the name of an album to reveal a list of its songs.
