Charging the batteries
Charging the batteries by connecting to an AC adapter with a USB
connection (model F-5AC; optional)
The supplied batteries can be charged by connecting the recorder to an optional F-5AC
USB AC adapter using a USB cable. Be sure the batteries are correctly inserted in the
recorder before proceeding (☞ P.12).
NOTE
• Before charging the batteries,
insert the rechargeable batteries
provided and set [Battery] to [Ni-MH]
(☞ P.12, P.100).
• Use only the supplied model of USB-
connecting AC adapter (F-5AC).
• Never attempt to charge an alkaline
battery, lithium battery or other
primary cell battery. Fluid leakage or
overheating may cause the recorder
to malfunction.

Select [AC Adapter] for the
USB connection setting
(☞ P.131).

Using the supplied USB cable,
connect the recorder to the AC
adapter.
