8.4.5. Reference Plate (B)
1. Remove the CIS (F). (See 8.4.2.)
2. Remove the 2 springs (1 from each side of the Reference
Plate (B)).
Disassembling Note: How to remove springs
Make sure to release one side of the spring hook while
holding the other side of the spring hook not to lose the
spring.
3. If White Standard Sheet on the Platen Roller becomes dirty,
it will have bad influence on a scanning picture.
