6.4.1.3 Debit Prompt
Note
When this function is enabled the terminal will prompt the user to select
CREDIT or DEBIT when a card is swiped. It will only prompt the user to
make a selection when the payment type is CREDIT. And it will be
invalid for choosing debit when it is in on paper mode.

From the Merchant Settings menu, press [1] to
access Authorizations
2.
Input the Password and press [ENTER]
3.
Press [3] to select Debit Prompt
4.
Current setting is displayed in the first line.
Press [1] to turn Debit Prompt OFF.
OR
Press [2] to turn Debit Prompt ON.
5.
Stop.
