6.4.8 Pressure Function
The Pressure function maps pressure to the input voltage using the 16-point table. The pressure can be defi ned as
absolute or gage. If absolute is chosen, the channel should display 0 when it is 101 kPa (14.7 PSI) below atmosphere.
If gage is chosen, the channel should display 0 at atmosphere. For pressure values below 6553 kPa (935 PSI) a high
resolution measurement (0.1 kPa) resolution is available. For measurement beyond 6553 kPa, chose the standard
resolution. Pressure is unique in that the user can select the gauge it would like displayed with the channel. This would
depend on the operating range of the channel. Select the gauge by choosing it from the drop down list. It will preview in
the window.
