Install the appropriate tool for the fuel pressure
check and position the manifold over a container
graduated by at least 100 cc. Connect the injector
with the cable making up part of the supply for the
injection tester. Connect the clamps of the cable
to an auxiliary battery. Activate the fuel pump with
the active diagnosis. Check that within 15 approx.
70 cm³ of fuel is delivered with adjustment pres-
sure of approx. 3 BAR.

Proceed with the injector seal test.
Dry the injector outlet with a blast of compressed
air. Activate the fuel pump. Wait for one minute,
making sure there are no leaks coming from the
injector. Slight oozing is normal.
Value limit = 1 drop per minute
Immobiliser circuit
The electronic ignition system is controlled by the
control unit with the integrated Immobilizer sys-
tem. The immobilizer is an antitheft system that
allows the vehicle to be operated only when it is
started with coded keys recognised by the control
unit. The code is integrated in a transponder in the
key block. This allows the driver clear operation
without having to do anything other than just turn-
ing the key. The Immobiliser system consists of the
following components:
