You can enter a title for the safety laser scanner arrangement under Name.
You can enter names for the devices in the safety laser scanner arrangement under
Device.
Click on the arrow . The next window Output configuration is opened and the num-
ber of OSSD pairs is already preset with 1x2.
4. Select Warning zone = 0.
If Warning zone = 0, the warning zone is activated. One of the outputs is automatically
set to No function.
The pins 8 and 13 are reserved for the first OSSDpair and they cannot be changed.
For OSSD, select 2x2. Two of the remaining outputs are reserved for the second OSSD
pair.
For Alarm 2 select Activated and select an output for the alarm.
With ALARM 1 an alarm is output when the front screen of the safety laser scanner is
dirty (CLEANW1 is shown on the display of the safety laser scanner).
With ALARM 2 an alarm is output when a device error has occurred.
5. Select Automatic Reset = Activated for this safety laser scanner when an error state
is detected and an automatic reset is to be performed.
6. Click on the arrow . The next window Configure zone sets is opened.
7. Select Zone set = 3. Enter the input delay.
The pins are automatically assigned to the zone sets by PSENscan Configurator. The
assignment can be changed manually.
Note when mapping manually: Zone sets where a 0 or 1 is entered for all the zone
switching, are not permitted.

Click on the arrow . The next window Input configuration is opened.
