Configuring a KIRK Media Resource Using Static IP
Address
This section describes how to configure a media resource using static IP
address.
This section contains information about:
“General Configuration” on page 11-7
“Media Resource Configuration” on page 11-7
General Configuration
On the Configuration/General page you define IP, DNS and NTP settings for
the media resource.
Refer to “General Configuration” on page 10-8 for a description.
Media Resource Configuration
On the Configuration/Media Resource page you configure the media
resource.
1 Click Configuration, and then click Media Resource.

2 In the Host field, type the address of the wireless server.
3 Click Save.
Checking Indicators
Verify that the media resource LED indicator is continuously on,
indicating that the media resource is functional.
Note
The LED will not be on before the base stations are configured.
