Polyend Play Manual Rev 1
6.1 What’s a Pattern?
A pattern is a combination of 8 audio and 8 MIDI tracks where each has a
series of steps mapped out. The steps can contain an audio sample which
allows the formation of a melody or beat. So for example Track 1 could be
the Drums, Track 2 for Percussion, Track 3 as Bass etc. A pattern can be
created by; adding steps manually ‘programmed’ into the grid pad,
recording in real time, automatically sequencing with the ll tool. Patterns
can be played individually or chained together into a sequence.
