6.13 Creating Custom Fill Patterns
Many of the ll functions use algorithms which use a pattern template as
the reference. For example the ‘beat’ and ‘chord and bass’ lls all draw from
the templates in the BeatFills and MelodyFills folders respectively. These
are essentially patterns. It is therefore possible for user patterns to be
created and to use as custom ll templates.
Important considerations for creating beat ll and melody ll templates
The instructions provided for creating ll templates must be followed exactly
and in the correct sequence in order for the pattern to operate as a
functional ll template when used in Play.
