V.1.4.2. Rx
A decisive factor in real time audio streaming is the ‘jitter’, or delay variation. To
deal with the jitter in the connection, ProntoNet provides a tool which allows the
user to modify the size of the reception buffer, and so, to compensate the jitter.
The maximum value for this buffer is 500 msc.
V.1.4.3. Test
This tool allows to check in real time the bandwidth, delay, jitter and packet loss
in an IP link between two ProntoNets. This information will be used to adjust the
streaming parameters in order to achieve the best quality in the audio streaming
connection.
