Please keep a record of important data. PRÜFTECHNIK assumes no
responsibility for data lost or altered. The ROTALIGN Commander
software program is available backing up data to a PC. See page 6-
16 for further information.
SAVE AS If the file on which you are working does not yet have a
name, select SAVE AS. A text editor will appear on the
screen. Enter a file name up to eight characters in length.
When finished, confirm with OK. If the file already exists,
you will be asked to give confirmation before the file is
overwritten.

10. Alignment completion
This completes the horizontal machine alignment!
If you have had difficulties with a particular alignment, common
causes are:
Soft foot (page 4-29)
Beam play
Pipe strain
Oil film thickness variation in white metal bearings
Incorrect or loose bracket mounting on the shaft (page 4-11)
Foundation flexing (combined with a stiff, flexible coupling)
Remember:
Remove the components from the shaft before switching on the
machine!
Save
Your measurements and results can now be saved and printed out if
desired. Press SAVE to open the file options screen:
