Horizontal machine alignment - options during results
Options during Results
In the Results screen described on page 4-49 are two softkeys not
described in the main instructions: OPTION and HISTRY (abbreviat-
ed due to space constraints in the ROTALIGN display).
OPTION calls up the "Results Setup Options" showing a summary of
targets, tolerances and machine setups. This screen also appears
when you select either "Coupling Targets" or "Thermal Growth" from
the Menu (pages 4-61).
HISTRY is a table of machine results. This is
not actually directly
accessible from the MENU.
Results Setup Options
Press OPTION from the Results display or select either "Coupling
Targets" or "Thermal Growth" from the MENU to show the following
screen:
Display Horizontal or Vertical
tolerances and targets
Setup Tolerancing

Set expected thermal
growth at feet page 4-61
Select which feet are static
(non-moveable)
page 4-65
Set "cold" coupling
targets page 4-59
Feet marked
with black
circles are
static
OPTION
Here is a summary of the target, growth and tolerance settings. If
tolerancing is set, smiley faces appear on the Results display. Refer to
the pages specified above for more details.
Select OK to return to the previous screen, i.e. Results or the MENU.
