ESP-LXME Controller
Connect Flow Sensor
A
Install the ow sensor in the eld according to the manufacturer’s
instructions, and run the ow sensor wire to the ESP-LXME
controller.

Route the ow sensor wire through the knockout on the bottom
of the controller.

Connect the ow sensor wire to the Flow + and Flow - inputs. When
nished, tug gently on the wires to make sure the connections are
tight.
NOTE: For Rain Bird FS-Series ow sensors, connect the red
sensor wire to the red (+) terminal and the black sensor wire to
the grey (-) terminal.

NOTE: The blue light on the FSM-LXME Flow Smart Module will
ash as ow is measured by the ow sensor.
Module Programming
Setup Flow Sensor
Turn the controller dial to Module Programming.

The Smart Module PGM screen appears with Flow Smart Module
selected; press Next.
B
The Flow Smart Module PGM screen appears with Flow Sensor
Setup selected; press Next.

NOTE: If a FSM-LXME Flow Smart Module is not installed, the
screens displayed on pages 58 through 72 will not be displayed.
