TherearethreeA-Scopemodes,asillustratedinthediagrambelow:
MODE 1
The A-scope
image is centred
in the window.
MODE 2
The left-hand side
of the Mode 1
image is expanded
to give a more
detailed view.
MODE 3
The A-scope
image angles
outward as
signal width
increases with
depth.

1.Usethesoftkeystoselectanappropriatepreset.
ThesoftkeynamechangestoADJUST ...
2.SelecttheADJUST...softkey.
3.WithdualfrequencyscreensselectFREQ1orFREQ2toselect
whichfrequencydisplayyouwishtochange.
4.SelecttheSELECTVIEWsoftkey.
5.SelecttheA-SCOPEoption.
Note:EnablingA-ScopemodeautomaticallyswitchesOFF
BottomLockandZoom.
BottomLock
TheBottomLockfunctionappliesaltertoattentheimageofthe
seabedandmakeanyobjectsonorjustaboveiteasiertodiscern.
Thisfeatureisparticularlyusefulforndingshthatfeedcloseto
thebottom.
BottomLockisselectedforindividualshnderwindowsand
canreplaceorappearalongsidethestandardshnderimage.
Adjustingtherangeofthebottomlockimageallowsyoutoview
morebottomdetails.Youcanalsorepositiontheimageonscreento
anywherebetweenthebottomofthewindow(0%)andthemiddleof
thewindow(50%)byusingtheBottomShiftcontrol.
