Onceyourdisplayhasbeeninstalledandcommissioned(see
InstallationGuide),Raymarinerecommendsthatyou:
•Setthelanguage,thedateandtimeformatandpreferredunits
ofmeasurement.
•Setyourvesseldetails.
•Adjustthedisplaybrightness.
•Alignthetouchscreen.
•Designatethedatamaster.
•SelecttheGPSdatasource.
•FamiliarizeyourselfwiththeSimulatorMode.
Settingthelanguage,date/time,andunitsof
measurement
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.SelectSystemSetup.
3.SelectLanguage.
4.Selecttheappropriatelanguagefromthelist.
5.SelectDate/TimeSetup.
6.UsetheDateFormatandTimeFormatmenuitemstoadjust
thedateandtime.
7.UsetheCancelbuttonortheBackicontoreturntotheSystem
Setupmenu.
8.SelectUnitsSetup.
9.MaketheappropriatechangesusingthemenuitemsintheUnits
SetupMenu.

Adjustingthedisplaybrightness
1.PressthePOWERbuttononce.
TheBacklightLevelcontrolisdisplayed.
2.Usingtherotarycontrol,adjustthebrightnesslevelas
appropriate.
3.ToswitchthecolorpalettebetweenDay(verybright)andNight
(dark)modes,selectMENU>DisplaySetup>Palette.
Touchscreenalignment
Ifthetouchscreenismisalignedtoyourtouch,youcanrealignit
toimprovetheaccuracy.
Realignmentinvolvesasimpleexercisetoalignanon-screenobject
withyourtouch.Forbestresults,performthisexercisewhenyour
vesselisanchoredormoored.
