2.SelectDisplaySetup.
3.SelectTouchscreenAlignment.
4.Placeyourngerovertheon-screenobjectmomentarily,then
removeit.
Theon-screenobjectmoves.
5.Placeyourngerovertheon-screenobjectmomentarily,then
removeit.
6.Iftheoperationwassuccessful,an“AlignmentCompleted”
messageisdisplayed.PresstheHOMEbuttontoreturntothe
homescreen.
7.Iftheoperationwasunsuccessful,an“AlignmentFailed”
messageisdisplayed,andtheDisplaySetupMenuisshown.

Anysystemcontainingmorethanonenetworkedmultifunction
displaymusthaveadesignateddatamaster.
Thedatamasteristhedisplaywhichservesasaprimarysource
ofdataforalldisplays,italsohandlesallexternalsourcesof
information.Forexamplethedisplaysmayrequireheading
informationfromtheautopilotandGPSsystems,usuallyreceived
throughaSeaT alk
ng
orNMEAconnection.Thedatamasteristhe
displaytowhichtheSeaT alk,NMEAandanyotherdataconnections
aremade,itthenbridgesthedatatotheSeaT alk
hs
networkand
anycompatiblerepeatdisplays.Informationsharedbythedata
masterincludes:
•Cartography
•Routesandwaypoints
•Radar
•Sonar
•Datareceivedfromtheautopilot,instruments,theengineand
otherexternalsources.
Yoursystemmaybewiredforredundancywithdataconnections
madetorepeatdisplays.Howevertheseconnectionswillonly
becomeactiveintheeventofafaultand/orreassignmentofthe
datamaster.

Thefollowingtaskmustbeperformedonthemultifunctiondisplay
thatyouwanttodesignateasthedatamaster:
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.SelecttheSystemSetupmenuitem.
