Sonarfrequency
Thefrequencyofthesonardeterminesthewidthofthesonarbeam,
thedepthtowhichthesignalswillpenetrateandtheresolution
oftheimage.Eachofthepresetoperatingmodeshasitsown
frequencysettings.
ThefrequenciessupporteddependupontheDSMandtransducer
connectedtoyoursystem.
•Lowerfrequencies(e.g.50kHz)produceawidesonarbeam
andpenetratethewaterwell.Alowerfrequencyprovidesalower
resolutionimagethatmaynotbeasgoodatdetectingsmallsh.
Uselowerfrequenciesifyourequirealargecoveragebeneath
yourboatorifyouareindeepwater.
•Higherfrequencies(e.g.200kHz)producenarrowbeam
andproduceahighresolutionimage.Theyaremostusefulin
shallowerwater(upto1000ft)andathigherspeeds.
•Auto.Whenoperatinginautomaticfrequencythesystemwillset
andadjustthefrequencyautomaticallytosuityourtransducer
andoperatingconditions.

FordualfrequencyoperationyoucansetFrequency2forthe
requiredpresetoperatingmodes.
Settingtheshnderfrequency
Withthecongurepresetsfrequenciesoptionsyoucan:
•Specifyoneortwofrequenciesforeachofthefourpresets.
•Editpresetnames.
•Resetpresetstofactorydefaults.
1.Fromthemainshnderscreen,presstheMENUbutton.
2.SelectFishnderSetupfromthelistofoptions.
3.SelectCongurePresetFrequenciesfromthelistofoptions.
