Engine/gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting

a Fit the clip:
-of the radiator bottom cooling hose using the tool
(Mot. 1448),
-of the expansion bottle top cooling hose using the
tool (Mot. 1448),
-of the radiator top cooling hose using the tool (Mot.
1448).
a Connect the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Clip the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a Connect the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Clip on the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Refit the bolt on the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Lubricate a new seal with the recommended air con-
ditioning oil to make fitting easier (see Air conditio-
ning: Parts and consumables for the repair
work) (62A, Air conditioning).
a Fit a new seal on the « condenser - expansion
valve » connecting pipe on the condenser side.
a Couple the « condenser - expansion valve » con-
necting pipe to the condenser.
a Refit the bolt of the « condenser - expansion valve »
connecting pipe bracket on the condenser side.
a Torque tighten the bolt of the connecting pipe
between the « condenser - expansion valve » (8
N.m).
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Lubricate a new seal with the recommended air con-
ditioning oil to make fitting easier (see Air conditio-
ning: Parts and consumables for the repair
work) (62A, Air conditioning).
a Fit a new seal on the « compressor - condenser »
connecting pipe on the condenser side.
a Couple the « compressor - condenser » connecting
pipe on the condenser.
a Refit the bolt to the « compressor - condenser » con-
necting pipe bracket on the condenser side.
a Torque tighten the bolt of the connecting pipe
between the « compressor - condenser » (8
N.m).
a Refit the retaining bolt of the « compressor -
condenser » connecting pipe
a Clip on the wiring of the refrigerant circuit pressure
sensor.
a Connect the connector of the refrigerant circuit pres-
sure sensor.
a Refit:
-the bonnet catch (see Bonnet latch: Removal -
Refitting) (52A, Non-side opening element mecha-
nisms),
- the front bumper mountings (see Front bumper
support: Removal - Refitting) (42A, Front upper
structure),
-the headlights (see Front headlight: Removal -
Refitting) (80B, Headlights),
- the side air deflectors,
- the upper air deflector,
- the front impact cross member (see Front impact
cross member: Removal - Refitting) (41A, Front
lower structure),
- the audible warning (see Horn: Removal - Refit-
ting) (82B, Horn),
- the connecting hose (see 19B, Exhaust, Connec-
ting hose: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-60) ,
- the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine moun-
ting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting,
page 19D-33) ,
- new differential output seals (see Differential out-
put seal: Removal - Refitting) (21A, Manual gear-
box),
- the front left-hand wheel driveshaft (see Front left-
hand wheel driveshaft: Removal - Refitting)
(29A, Driveshafts),
- the front right-hand wheel driveshaft (see Front ri-
ght-hand wheel driveshaft: Removal - Refitting)
(29A, Driveshafts).
a Refill:
- the engine oil (if necessary) (see 10A, Engine and
cylinder block assembly, Engine oil: Draining -
Refilling, page 10A-40) ,
- the cooling circuit (see Manual gearbox oil: Drai-
ning - Refilling) ,
- the manual gearbox (see Manual gearbox oil:
Draining - Refilling) (21A, Manual gearbox),
- the refrigerant circuit using a refrigerant charging
station (62A, Air conditioning).
a Refit:
-the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
- the front section of the front wheel arch liners (see
Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting)
