-the inner timing cover bolts (3) ,
-the inner timing cover,
-the rocker cover (see 11A, Top and front of engi-
ne, Rocker cover: Removal - Refitting, page
11A-88) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove:
-the bolts of the camshaft bearing cap cover,
- the camshaft bearing cap cover,
a Remove:
- the camshaft (4) ,
- the camshaft seal on the timing end.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a
a Use SUPER CLEANING AGENT FOR JOINT FA-
CES (see Vehicle: Parts and ingredients for the
repairwork) (04B, Consumables - Products) to
clean:
- the joint face of the camshaft bearing cap cover,
- the cylinder head joint face.
a Use SURFACE CLEANER (see Vehicle: Parts
and ingredients for the repairwork) (04B, Consu-
mables - Products) to degrease:
- the joint face of the camshaft bearing cap cover,

WARNING
Do not scrape the joint faces of the aluminium,
any damage caused to the joint face will result in
a risk of leaks.
WARNING
To ensure proper sealing, the gasket surfaces
must be clean, dry and not greasy (avoid any fin-
ger marks).
