Cylinder head: Removal - Refitting

-all heater plug connectors,
-the fuel flow regulation solenoid valve connector,
-the fuel temperature sensor connector,
-the injector rail pressure sensor connector.
a Connect:
-the coolant temperature sensor connector,
-the heater matrix cooling hose to the water cham-
ber cooling hose.
a Fit the heater matrix cooling hose clip onto the water
chamber cooling hose using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Connect the cooling radiator top cooling hose to the
water chamber.
a Fit the cooling radiator top cooling hose clip to the
water chamber.
a Connect the heater matrix cooling hose to the ex-
haust gas cooler cover.
a Fit the heater matrix cooling hose clip on the exhaust
gas cooler cover using the tool (Mot. 1448).
a Clip the heater matrix cooling hose onto the water
chamber.
a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Coo-
ling, Cooling circuit: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-17) .
a Connect the air filter unit air outlet pipe to the turbo-
charger.
a Torque tighten the air filter unit air outlet pipe clip
on the turbocharger (5.5 N.m).
a Connect:
-exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve connector
,
-the turbocharging pressure regulation solenoid val-
ve hose.
a Clip on the turbocharging pressure regulation sole-
noid valve hose.
a Connect the turbocharging pressure regulation sole-
noid valve hose to the vacuum pump.
a Fit the dipstick guide.
a Refit:
-the dipstick guide bolts,
-the dipstick.
a
a Place beads (53) of SILICONE ADHESIVE SEA-
LANT (see Vehicle: Parts and ingredients for the
repairwork) (04B, Consumables - Products) 2 mm
in diameter and 10 mm long.
a Refit the rocker cover, fitted with a new gasket.
a Torque tighten the rocker cover bolts (11 N.m).
a Connect the oil vapour rebreathing pipe onto the
rocker cover.
a Refit the diesel injector fuel return rail (see 13B, Die-
sel injection, Diesel injector fuel return rail: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 13B-63) .
a Clip on the rocker cover:
- the diesel injector fuel return rail,
- the diesel injector wiring.

WARNING
Applying excess sealant could cause it to be
squeezed out when parts are tightened. A mix-
ture of sealant and fluid could damage certain
components (engine, radiator, etc.).
