High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

a
a Disconnect the supply pipe union (1) from the high
pressure pump.
a Insert the blanking plugs.
a Disconnect the connector (2) from the regulator on
the high pressure pump.
a Remove the bolts (3) from the high pressure pump
rear support.
a Remove:
- the bolts (4) from the high pressure support on the
cylinder head,
- the "high pressure pump support - high pressure
pump" assembly.

WARNING
To prevent impurities from entering the circuit,
place protective plugs on all fuel circuit compo-
nents exposed to the open air.
