DIESEL INJECTION
High pressure pump: Removal - Refitting

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the "high pressure pump support - high pressure
pump" assembly in a vice equipped with jaws.
a Position the (Mot. 1668) (5) .
a Remove the nut (6) from the high pressure pump
pulley.
a Fit the (Mot. 1525) fitted with the (Mot. 1525-03).
a Remove:
-the high pressure pump pulley,
- the tool (Mot. 1525) equipped with the tool (Mot.
1525-03),
- the (Mot. 1668).
a Remove:
- the high pressure pump bolts (7) ,
- the high pressure pump.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the high pressure pump.
a Torque tighten the high pressure pump bolts (25
N.m).
a Refit the high pressure pump pulley.
a Position the (Mot. 1668).
a Torque tighten the high pressure pump pulley nut
(50 N.m).
a Remove the tool (Mot. 1668).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the "high pressure pump support - high pressu-
re pump" assembly.
a Torque and angle tighten the high pressure pump
support bolts on the cylinder head (20 N.m +
80˚).
a Torque tighten the bolt for the high pressure
pump rear support (30 N.m).
